He is Vice-Chairman of the General Assembly in EUROPEUM- EDIC new EU organization that will continue deployment the European Blockchain Services Network (EBSI) – the initiative of the European Commission and EU Member State developed by European Blockchain Partnership (EBP).
On behalf of the Ministry of Digital Affairs he is a member of the Quantum Technologies Coordination Group, a body established under the auspices of the European Commission.
At NASK, the National Research Institute he works for the Cybersecurity Product Analysis and Development Team, Cybersecurity Development Division. He advises on new technologies, deals with the development of the Polish node of the EBSI and ethe development EBSI use cases.
In the law firm Wardynski & Partners he is technology adviser. He dealt with legal, regulatory and technological aspects of innovative sectors of the economy.
Since 1990 he has operated his own consulting firm, Rotel, specializing in issues of strategy and regulated market strategies and new technologies trends, cybersecurity, cryptography applications critical infrastructure and cooperation between the public and private sectors.
He is also the founder and vice president of the Mikromakro Institute, a think tank striving social acceptance for disruptive technologies, competence canter for drones (UAV) applications.

Graeme Stevens

Personal Information

Graeme describes himself as Scotxican, splitting his time between Scotland and Mexico, where his wife his from, living with two rescue dogs and having introduced locals to Scottish fusion dishes like Haggis Tacos. Graeme is Chief Commerical Officer at SITEnetwork, who are creating XR experiences and destination twins for the Tourism industry. He is a qualified Ethical Hacker with a particular interest in cyber security within emerging tech. The interest in emerging tech took him into the Blockchain ICO space in 2017 from where play to earn came to his attention. Graeme started working with Scottish Tourism and Edinburgh Futures Institute as the pandemic hit on whether Blockchain could underpin a hybrid economy for the industry alongside AR/VR. He was commissioned to create the first Metaverse playbook for Tourism, which is now being used as an educational framework for an XR Tourism course at the University of Malaga. Graeme is interested in Mayan History which will be a focal point for one of SITEnetworks destination experiences, The Mayaverse.

Dr. Marcin Lawenda (M) completed his studies at the Poznań University of Technology, earning a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Parallel and Distributed Computation in 2000. He subsequently obtained his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2006. With over 25 years of experience, he has been affiliated with the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center. His research areas include parallel and distributed systems, scheduling, and environmental simulations. Throughout his professional journey, he has authored and co-authored in excess of 100 reports and papers published in various conference proceedings and academic journals. Since 2000, he has also been an active member of the Polish Information Processing Society.

Krzysztof Walas

Krzysztof Walas is an Assistant Professor at Poznan University of Technology and was the Robotics Team Leader at IDEAS NCBR. He specializes in robotic perception for interaction tasks. He obtained both his M.Sc. in Automatic Control and Robotics and his Ph.D. in legged robot locomotion from Poznan University of Technology. Following a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Birmingham’s Intelligent Robotics Lab, he led research groups in several high-profile projects, including Horizon 2020’s THING (focusing on legged robot locomotion) and REMODEL (advancing deformable object manipulation). In February 2024, he joined the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS), and in June 2024 was elected to the board of directors of the AI, Data and Robotics Association (ADRA).
